Part load, also known as partial load, less-than-truckload (LTL), or less-than-container-load (LCL), is a shipment that doesn't use the entire space available for carrying it. In other words, the quantity of the shipment is bigger than the LTL shipment, but not large enough to occupy the whole capacity of a truck.

A part load describes goods which only fills a truck partially. In essence, the quantity of the shipment is bigger than the Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipment. Also, the shipment cannot fully occupy a truck i.e. its capacity is much lower than a Full Truckload (FTL) shipment. Ready for the future of logistics?
